Weshak Full Moon. 2024

The Full moon in Taurus constellation, when the sun is in zodiac Taurus and moon is placed in the zodiac Scorpio the full moon is called weshak Full moon. This full moon is also popularly called as Budda Pournima where Lord Buddha attained the highest illumination, reliasation and salvation under the tree of BODHI. There is special place in India called Buddha Gaya , the place where Lord Buddha attained Buddhahood, still preserves those sacred trees of the family.

On this special day the Sun God initiates the Planet Earth with twelve fold syllable of the sacred mantra which initiates the  planet with the 24 tablet of Solar Plan.  SPECIAL Rituals are conducted in Himalayas today at sigasthi village Where Lord Maitreya and his cabinet of Masters invokes Lord Buddha with special rituals as described by Leadbeater in Theosophy book Masters and Path Called as  Weshak Festival Lord Gauthama  Buddha gives that  plan from planetary logos to Masters of Wisdom in fivefold manner. Today many students of faith ,disciples of Masters will be initiated by Lord Maitreya Buddha and  by the New world Teacher. Maitreya Buddha recieves the message of Lord Buddha passes it on to gathering. Masters  of the seven Rays may also change their positions ascend or interchange or exchange their duties depending upon need of hour and pupil preparation.

*“ఋతూనాం కుసుమాకరాం”* అని భగవానుడు స్వయంగా తానే వసంతఋతువునని భగవద్గీతలో చెప్పుకున్న వసంత ఋతువులో తొలి మాసం చైత్రమాసం. సంవత్సరానికి తొలి మాసం కూడా. చైత్రమాసం అనగానే మనకి ఉగాది , శ్రీరామనవమి గుర్తుకొస్తాయి. అవే కాదు , దశావతారాలలో మొదటిది అయిన మత్స్యావతారం , యజ్ఞ వరాహమూర్తి జయంతి, సౌభాగ్యగౌరీ వ్రతం వంటి విశిష్టమైన రోజులెన్నో ఈ మాసంలోనే ఉన్నాయి. అలా చైత్ర మాసం సంవత్సరానికి మొదటి నెలగా మాత్రమే కాక , అనేక ఆధ్యాత్మిక , పౌరాణిక విశిష్టతలు కలిగిన మాసం కూడా. ఈ మాసంలో చంద్రుడు పౌర్ణమినాడు చిత్త నక్షత్రంతో కూడి ఉంటాడు. సూర్యుడు కూడా మొదటి రాశియైన మేషరాశిలో సంచరిస్తున్నాడు.

*చైత్ర శుద్ధ పాడ్యమి*

ఉగాది..ప్రకృతి చిగురించే వసంతకాలాన్ని ఉత్సాహంగా స్వాగతించే పండుగ ఉగాది. చెట్లూ , చేమలే కాదు , పశుపక్ష్యాదులు కూడా వసంతా గమనాన్ని స్వాగతిస్తాయి. సంవత్సరము నకు యుగము అనే పేరు కూడా ఉంది. అందుకే యుగాది , ఉగాది అయింది. చాంద్రమానాన్ని అనుసరించే వారే కాక , సౌరమానాన్ని అనుసరించే కొంతమంది కూడా ఈ రోజు నుండీ సంవత్సరాదిని జరుపుకుంటారు. ఉగాది నాడు కొన్ని పనులను చేయాలని పెద్దలు చెప్పారు. అవి ఏమిటంటే , ఉగాది నాడు తైలాభ్యంగన స్నానం చేసి , నూతన వస్త్రాలు ధరించాలి. ప్రతీ గృహము నందు ధ్వజారోహణం , లేదా జయకేతనం ఎగురవేయాలి. సృష్టి మొదలు అయిన రోజున (యుగాది) సృష్టిని చేసిన బ్రహ్మగారిని పూజించాలి. ఉగాది నాడు షడ్రుచులతో కూడిన పచ్చడి సేవనం (నింబకుసుమ భక్షణం), పంచాంగ శ్రవణం , తెలుగు వారికే ప్రత్యేకమైన అవధానం , వంటివి పండుగకే శోభనిస్తాయి.

ఉగాది పచ్చడి సేవనం వెనుక అనేక ఆరోగ్య రహస్యాలు దాగి ఉన్నాయి. వేపపువ్వు , కొత్త బెల్లం , కొత్త చింతపండు , మామిడి , చెరకు వంటి వాటి తో చేసిన పచ్చడిని తినటం వల్ల ప్రకృతిలో వచ్చే మార్పుల కు మన శరీరం సిద్ధపడుతుంది. వేపపువ్వు , బెల్లం ఈనాటినుండీ పదిహేనురోజుల పాటు రోజూ ఉదయాన్నే స్వీకరించడం వల్ల ఆరోగ్యం చక్కబడుతుంది.

*పంచాంగ శ్రవణం*

పంచాంగాన్ని పూజించి , తిథి , వార , నక్షత్ర , యోగం , కరణాల తో కూడిన పంచాంగాన్ని చదివి , విని , రాబోయే సంవత్సరంలో గ్రహాల గతుల ఆధారంగా ఫలితాలు ఎట్లా ఉండబోతున్నాయో తెలుసుకుని , తదనుగుణంగా తమ నిర్ణయాలను తీసుకోవడం , శుభ ఫలితాల కోసం భగవంతుని పూజించడం వంటివి చేస్తారు. ఇక కవిసమ్మేళనాలు , అవధానాలు , సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలతో కాలాన్ని ఆనందంగా గడుపుతారు.

*చైత్ర శుద్ధ పాడ్యమి*

ఉగాది నుండి చైత్ర శుద్ధ నవమి వరకూ వసంత నవరాత్రులు సంవత్సరంలో మనం మూడు సార్లు నవ రాత్రులు జరుపుకుంటాము. మొదటిది చైత్ర మాసంలో వచ్చే వసంత నవరాత్రులు , రెండవది భాద్రపదమాసంలో వచ్చే గణపతి నవరాత్రులు , మూడవది ఆశ్వయుజ మాసంలో వచ్చే శరన్నవ రాత్రులు. సంవత్సరంలో మొదటగా వచ్చే వసంత నవరాత్రులని ప్రజలంతా ఎంతో ఆనందోత్సాహాలతో జరుపుకుంటారు. ఈ నవరాత్రులలో లలితాదేవిని కూడా ఆరాధించాలి. అంతేకాకుండా ఈ తొమ్మిది రోజులూ రామాయణాన్ని పారాయణ చేసి , నవరాత్రుల చివరి రోజున సీతారాముల కళ్యాణం ఎంతో వైభవంగా చేసి , చూసి తరిస్తారు. రామాయణానికి ఈ వసంత నవరాత్రులకి ఎంతో అవినాభావ సంబంధం వుంది. రామాయణం లోని ఎన్నో ముఖ్య ఘట్టాలు ఈ తొమ్మిది రోజులలో జరిగాయి. రాముడు జన్మించినది మొదలు , వనవాసానికి వెళ్ళటం , దశరథుని మరణం , సీతాపహరణం , రావణుని సంహారానంతరం సీతారాములు అయోధ్యా నగరానికి చేరటం , శ్రీరామ పట్టాభిషేకము వంటివి ఎన్నో ముఖ్యమైన సంఘటనలు ఈ చైత్రమాసంలో జరిగాయి. 

చైత్ర శుద్ధ విదియ నాడు బాలచంద్రుడిని బాలేందు వ్రతం అని పూజిస్తారు. చంద్రునికో నూలుపోగు అని విదియ నాటి బాలచంద్రునికి కొత్త నూలుపోగు అని సమర్పిస్తారు. చంద్రుడు జ్ఞానప్రదాత. ఆయనకీ నూలుపోగు సమర్పించి , మనకి జ్ఞానాన్నిమ్మని కోరుతారు.

*చైత్ర శుద్ధ తదియ*

డోలాగౌరీ వ్రతం(సౌభాగ్య గౌరీ వ్రతం), సౌభాగ్య శయన వ్రతం , ఆ రోజున పార్వతీ పరమేశ్వరులను దమనంతో పూజించి , డోలోత్సవం నిర్వహిస్తారు. చవితితో కూడిన తదియ రోజున ఈ ఉత్సవం చేస్తారు. పార్వతీ దేవి శివుడిని భర్తగా పొందటం కోసం తపస్సు చేసినప్పుడు , చైత్ర శుద్ధ తదియ నాడు ఆ తపస్సు ఫలించింది. సీతాదేవి కూడా ఈ వ్రతాన్ని ఆచరించినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. సౌభాగ్యాన్ని , పుత్రపౌత్రాదు లను , భోగభాగ్యాలను ప్రసాదించే ఈ వ్రతాన్ని స్త్రీలు ఆచరిస్తారు. ఈ రోజు మత్స్య జయంతి కూడా. – శ్రీ మహ విష్ణువు మత్స్యావతారమెత్తి సోమకుణ్ణి వధించి , వేదాలను రక్షించిన రోజు.

*చైత్ర శుద్ధ పంచమి*

లక్ష్మీదేవి భూలోకానికి వచ్చిన రోజు మరియు నాగులను కూడా ఈ రోజు పూజించాలి. అనంత , వాసుకి , తక్షక , కర్కోటక , శంఖ , కుళిక , పద్మ , మహాపద్మ అనే మహానాగులను పూజించి , పాలు , నెయ్యి నివేదించాలి.

అశ్వములను కూడా ఈ రోజు పూజించాలి. శ్రీ మహావిష్ణువు అవతారాలలో హయగ్రీవావతారం కూడా ఒకటి. ఈ రోజు శ్రీరామ రాజ్యోత్సవం అనగా రాముల వారికి పట్టాభిషేకము జరిగిన రోజు. శ్రీరామ పట్టాభిషేకము చేయించిన మంచిది. ఒకవేళ చేయలేకపోయినా , శ్రీ రామాయణం లో రామ పట్టాభిషేకము ఘట్టము పారాయణము చేయడం మంచిది.

*చైత్ర శుద్ధ అష్టమి*

భవానిదేవి ఆవిర్భవించిన రోజు మరియు అశోకాష్టమి అంటారు. ఆరోజు భవాని మాతని పూజిస్తారు. స్త్రీలు అమ్మవారిని అశోక పుష్పాల తో పూజించి , అశోకవృక్షం చిగురుని సేవిస్తే గర్భ శోకం కలుగదు అని శాస్త్రము చెప్పింది.

*చైత్ర శుద్ధ నవమి*

శ్రీరామనవమి . శ్రీమహావిష్ణువు తన పూర్ణావతారము అయిన శ్రీరామునిగా అవతరించిన రోజు. ఈ రోజు ఊరూరా , వాడవాడలా శ్రీసీతారాముల కళ్యాణం చేస్తారు. నూతన సంవత్సరంలో సీతారాముల కళ్యాణం జరిగిన తరువాతే ప్రజలు తమ ఇంట వివాహాది శుభకార్యాలు తలపెడతారు. వాల్మీకి రామాయణం ప్రకారం శ్రీరాముడు జన్మించిన సంవత్సరం విళంబినామ సంవత్సరం.

వరూధిన్యేకాదశి , కామద ఏకాదశి అని అంటారు.

స్త్రీలు చిత్రవర్ణాలు గల (రక రకాల రంగులు) వస్త్రాలను దానం చేయటం వల్ల సౌభాగ్యం కలుగుతుంది. ఈ రోజు చిత్రగుప్తుని వ్రతం చేసిన మంచిది. ఉత్తర భారతదేశం లోని వారు హనుమజ్జయంతి ని జరుపుకుంటారు.

 Astronomically April 8, during the total solar eclipse. During this time, the Sun will briefly get completely cloaked by the Moon, creating a moment of complete darkness in several countries.During the total solar eclipse on April 8, the Sun, Moon and the Earth will align in a straight line, leading to darkness during the daytime as the Moon will block the Sun completely. The Sun will remain cloaked for a total of four minutes, during which its enigmatic outer layer will be illuminated.

During this eclipse, the corona (outer layer) of the Sun will be briefly visible from Earth as the moon blocks the star. The corona, otherwise, is not visible from the Earth.

The total eclipse will be visible from parts of North America, including Mexico, the United States and Canada. The major cities from where it will be visible are Dallas, Little Rock, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Buffalo and Burlington. The first solar eclipse of 2024 will not be visible from India. yet the radiations passed on this day show its effect on psychology health and atmosphere  climate effects conditions of people . 

During this Surya Grahan, Earth’s little satellite will entirely shade the blazing, humongous Sun, and leave just a fiery outline visible. A truly mind-boggling cosmic event that rarely comes along.
